" am truly enjoying my Spanish Barbs. I’ve been doing a lot of ground work with Unico. So far he has accepted everything with a very calm demeanor. I have put a surcingle with boat bumpers on him and after two little bucks he acted like it was no big deal having something banging him on the sides. After introducing him to the surcingle he was very calm with saddle weight, he acted like he had been wearing onef or years, no bucking or negative behavior. Chimayo is a very handsome and typey, pure Wilbur-Cruce gelding. He is very smooth and is gaited. He is excellent on trail and does well in rough or rocky terrain. He has an quick mind and takes new situations in stride. Videos available on request.

Level of Training: GGround work from birth. He was ponied for 3 years in the trails around his owners home. Rickie has been lounged over jumps and attended a fun show. He has been to local horse events to experience the activities and wasn't bothered by anything.

Rickie was started under saddle in January 2013 and his trainer finds him soft and responsive to hands, legs and seat. In April, he will be completing 90 days professional training and will be ready to go to work.

Medium to advanced rider due to his level of training. With a bit more experience, he would be suitable for a beginner. /span>

General Information:

EExperience or Accomplishments: Just getting started in his riding career. Rickie's training included both arena and trail work. In his training Rickie has proven that he is very calm and willing to try new things. His trainer said he is one of the easiest colts she has started.

He has been featured at the Tohono hul Park's Horse'n Around event and the Bunes Aries National Refuse's Grassland's Festival in 2012. Rickie loves to be in public.

Rickie is trailer trained and stands nicely for the farrier. He is easy to bathe, groom and clip.

Temperament/Personality: Rickie has a very sweet and soft disposition. He loves to be with people and enjoys attention. He is very cooperative and doesn't resist learning new things.

Rickie is pure Wilbur-Cruce and very smooth to ride.

HHerd position: passive, fits in well with any group. He lives with 2 older geldings and enjoys playing with them but know he place when it comes to his position in the herd.
